Cathy Farley Silva, 70, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 26, 2025, at her residence in Vandalia, IL.

Cathy was born October 23, 1954, in Pontiac, IL, the daughter of Russel & Erma (Hill) Farley. She is survived by her son, Anthony Silva and his wife Jennifer and grandchildren, Sean, Lucy, and Jack Silva. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Kelly; nephews, Marc (Michelle) Kelly and Scott Kelly (Jessica Stovall); and great-nephew, Andrew Kelly.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Erma and Russel Farley, and brother-in-law, Bill Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cathy's memory to the Effingham County Humane Society.
