Carl R. DeMoulin, 82, of Vandalia, IL, died on Friday, December 07, 2012 at Fayette Co. Hospital, ER, in Vandalia, IL. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 14, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with the Pastor Tom Fedrigon officiating. Burial will follow at Mulberry Grove Cemetery, in Mulberry Grove, IL with military rites. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday, one hour before service at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: To The Family. He was born August 02, 1930, in Rockford, IL., the son of Walter E. and Sadie Pearl (Stauffer) DeMoulin. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Korea and a press assistant at Vandalia Leader Union Newspaper. He is survived by One Brother: Marshal DeMoulin, Virginia; Two Sisters: Marlene Moore, TX and Marcella Lawson, Maryland; Nieces: Michele Fulk, Maryland and Gabrielle DeMoulin, Columbia, IL.; Nephews: Michael DeMoulin, Florida and Stanley DeMoulin, Maryland and several other nieces and nephews abroad. He is preceded in death by his Parents: Brothers: Martin E. DeMoulin and Raymond L. DeMoulin.
