Billye J. (Marquardt) Dyer, 73, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 14, 2021, at CenterPointe Church, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Rodney Caswell officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 14, 2021, prior to the service at the church. She was born May 8, 1947, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Billie Eugene & Mary Evelyn (Carter) Oliver. Married David R. Dyer on December 28, 2013, Hagarstown, Maryland. She was a secretary for Vandalia Township for 30 years and member of CenterPointe Church, Vandalia, IL. Billye's most precious gifts she adored are her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a 18 year cancer survivor. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling, decorating, crocheting, playing piano and spending time with family and friends. Billye set a great example for us in the love she had for Jesus and her involvement in church.

She is survived by: Husband - David Dyer, Vandalia, IL; Daughters - Shelley Edwards & Brian, Kelley Banal & Sonny, Mary Dean & Melanie Delion and Billie Worker & LaNeil; Grandchildren - Seth, Carley and Shelby Edwards, Olivia Aikman, Taylor Killen, Brayden and Karingten Smothers, Jaedyn & Jeffrey Kelly, Kaelyb, Billye Maegyn, Jaesa, Laekyn, Mark and Aleana Worker, and Everlee Edwards; Great Grandchildren - Bayne, Evie, Aspen, Kynlee, and CharleeEdwards and Harmony Spangler; Sisters - Bobbye Eulberg & Mike and Connie Bolyard & Grayland.
