Irvin William "Bill" Stanley 59 of Vandalia, IL passed away Friday October 23, 2015 at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, IL.

Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday October 30, 2015, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Rodney Houser, officiating. The family will be recieving friends from 4:00-6:00 P.M., Prior to the Services on Friday, at the Funeral Home.

Bill was born April 11, 1956 in Olney, IL to Rolland Gene "Pork" & Shirley Mae (Houser) Stanley. He was a Bio Med Tech for General Electric, married Paula Kay Bickers June 10, 1978 in Olney, IL. A veteran of the United States Navy and was affiliated with the Herrick Baptist Church, Herrick, IL.

Mr. Stanley is survived by his Wife Paula of Vandalia, IL: Son - Chris Stanley & wife Amy of Coloma, MI, Daughters - Lacey Stanley of Vandalia & Tabitha Cole & husband Daniel of Bingham, IL: Brother - Roger L. Stanley & wife Becky of Otwell, IN. 7 Grandchildren; Aubrianna, Jacob, Cameron, Katie, Mikey, Zach, & Liam; and Great Grandchild - Mahkinzie Grace. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
