Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 24, 2014, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Rev. Joe Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, October 24, 2014, 1 hr. prior to the service, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Fayette County Health Dept. Visiting Nurses. She was born May 26, 1922, in Schram City, IL, the daughter of Charles E. & Hazel V. (Hunter) Carlock. Married Melville "Ray" Harrison on June 16, 1942, in St. Louis, MO. Ray, passed away July 20, 2002. She was a retired Beautician, owner operator of Beulah's Beauty Shop for 26 years and member of First Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL. She is survived by: Son - Randy Harrison & Bonita, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Vickie Meseke & Dan, Springfield, IL; 4 Grandchildren - Jacob, Nicole, Kelsey & Brandon & 1 Great Granddaughter - Kamiyah.
