Betty Lou Schaub, 93, of Decatur, Illinois, formerly of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Imboden Creek Senior Living Center & Rehabilitation in Decatur, IL.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. A graveside service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL with Rev. Curtis Flake officiating. She was born March 22, 1931, in Sefton Township, IL, the daughter of Adolf & Rachael (Garrison) Francis. She married Donald Delves Schaub on June 9, 1948, in Sefton Township, IL. She worked for the Department of Human Services in Vandalia from 1960 to 1994. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Vandalia, and in later years, attended the First Baptist Church in Decatur. She was a member of the Vandalia Country Club where she loved to play golf. She loved quilting and enjoyed participating in the Ramsey Quilting Group.

She is survived by: Son - Danny Schaub & LeeAnn, Champaign, IL; Daughter - Pamela Marty, Decatur, IL; Grandchildren - Michael Marty & Rachel, Jill Fornear & Adam, Scott McWilliams & Amanda, Danielle Jackson & Kyle, Kain Schaub & Joanna, and Lisa Nelson & John; 12 Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Grandchild.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Son-in-law - Jim Marty; Brothers - Ward, Charles, Herbert, Willard, and Robert; Sisters - Pauline, Wanda, Helen, and Virginia.
