Betty L. Rogers, 79, of Effingham, Illinois, formerly of Vandalia, IL, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017, at Lakeland Rehab and Health Care, Effingham, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 27, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, , with Pastor Tim Logue officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery, rural Fillmore, IL. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, November 26, 2017, at the funeral home. Memorials: To the family.

She was born, January 9, 1938, in Mulberry Grove Township, Bond County, IL, the daughter of Lewis Forrest & Nellie Leona (Elam) Snow. Married Eugene "Gene" Rogers on June 24, 1955, RFD Vandalia, IL. Gene passed away August 18, 2015. Betty was a retired School Bus Driver for Vandalia Community School District and affiliated with the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by: Sons - Ronnie Rogers & Debbie, Granite City, IL and Jack Rogers & Donna, Vandalia, IL; Sister - Deanna Kulesza & Ed, Vandalia, IL; 6 Grandchildren - Josh, Julie, Alisa, Ronnie Keith, Daniel, Katie
and 7 Great Grandchildren - Lydia, Lani, Mariah, Maci, Waylin, Evan, Owen

Preceded in death by: Her Parents and Husband.
