Betty M. Haynes, 86, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017, in Vandalia, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 27, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Terry Sapp, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL and 1 hr. prior to the service on Friday. Memorials: Ramsey Christian Church, Ramsey, IL.

She was born December 21, 1930, in Cracker Neck, IL, the daughter of John Harlen & Mary Etta (Stone) Shepard. Married Merl R. "Dutch" Haynes on January 1, 1950, Vandalia, IL, he passed away January 17, 2015. She was a Cosmetology Instructor in the St. Louis, MO area; a member of Ramsey Christian Church, Ramsey, IL and was a volunteer @ Fayette County Hospital LTC for 23 years. Betty enjoyed mowing, crocheting, caring for family and friends, crafting, baking, word search puzzling, singing praises to God & reading the Bible. She loved being a member of Ramsey Christian Church.

She is survived by: Daughters - Diane Arnold & Doug, Odin, IL, Jeanette Benoodt & Mark, O'Fallon, MO, Debra Glover & Tim, Silex, MO and Mary Etta Frazier & Ronnie, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Bobby & Cathy Regazzi, Jenny & Zach Sexton, Stacy Glover, Shelly Glover, Ryan & Christina Benoodt, Dustin & Nancy Whitis, Chris & Amanda Frazier and Casey Frazier; Great Grandchildren - Vinny, Sophie, Gianna and Frankie Regazzi, Eli Sexton, Kylie and Brendan Benoodt, Scotty, Morgan and Tasha Whitis, Dylann Frazier; and Brother-in-law - Cecil Haynes & Joann, Clearwater, FL.
