Barbara Jo Milhoan, age 81, of Ramsey, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at her home in Ramsey, IL.

Barbara was born June 24, 1945 the daughter of Willie Grimes and Margaret (Tinsley) Grimes in Campbell, MO. She married Tommy Benefiel on December 9, 1961 in Aurora, IL. He passed April 27, 2001. She then later married Eugene Milhoan on June 6, 2002 in Pittsburg, IL. He has since passed on April 14, 2023. Barbara was a member of the Crown Point Church in rural Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by her children; Janet Fitzpatrick and Michael Benefiel, her grandchildren; Brittany (Cody) Beck and Jacklyn (Kent) Bouillon, her great grandchildren; Joseph Beck and Eleanor Bouillon, and her sister-in-law; Diane Grimes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Tommy Benefiel, then Eugene Milhoan, her brother; Bill Grimes, and her son-in-law; John Fitzpatrick.
