Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, June 01, 2014, at First Pentecostal Church, Vandalia, IL, with Revs. Daniel McDonald & Paul Cagle, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL, with Military Rites. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday, May 31, 2014 & 1hr prior to the service on Sunday, at First Pentecostal Church, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: First Pentecostal Church, Vandalia, IL. He was born August 18, 1932, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Fred & Elsia V. (Funk) Perry. Married Betty Jean Horton on March 12, 1952, in Hillsboro, IL, she passed away Jan. 19, 2012. He was Co-owner of Shrine Memorial Vault Co., Vandalia, IL, an Army Veteran in the Korean Conflict, Member of Crawford-Hale Post #95 American Legion & First Pentecostal Church, both of Vandalia, IL. He is survived by: Son - Jay Perry & Sayona, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Aubrea & Ally Perry & Great Grandsons - Jasper & Collin Perry. Preceded in death by: Parents; Wife; & 1 Brother - Norman.
