Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday, October 10, 2011 at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL. (2 hours before the Service) Private burial at a later date. Memorials: Second Change Animal Rescue, Vandalia, IL. He was born on May 24, 1957, in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Joseph Wayne and Norma Jean (Stieg) Martin. He married Cathy A. Stanbery on November 26, 1976 in Ramsey, IL. Owner/Operator of Donaldson's Carpet, & member of Vandalia Moose Lodge #1447, both in Vandalia, IL. Art was a Navy Veteran. He is survived by Wife, Cathy Martin of Ramsey, IL 2 Daughters: Crystal Parkison & Jake, Brownstown, IL & Gail Holthaus & Brandon, Pana, IL 3 Brothers: Joe Martin, Altamont, IL; Elmer Martin, Decatur, IL & Harry Martin, Altamont, IL 1Sister: Laura Cunningham, Alton, IL Grandchildren: Marshall, MaKenzie, Malanie, Kera & Lola.
