Anton A. "Andy" Hauck, 67, of Effingham, IL, formerly of Altamont and Brownstown, IL, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Sara Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL. Private Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Brookstone Estates in Effingham, IL. Private burial will take place at Griffith Cemetery, Brownstown, IL. Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia is in charge of the arrangements. Andy was born on September 19, 1944, in Altoona, PA, the son of Herman Anton and Mildred Jean (Lewis) Hauck. He married Vonnie Lynn (Biswell) McConkey on January 2, 1990 in Vandalia, IL. Vonnie passed away on March 16, 2007. He was affiliated with the First Christian Church, St. Elmo, IL, Road Angel A.C.T., a Navy Veteran in the Vietnam War, a retired Minister & Former Chef. He is survived by Daughters: Stephanie Hauck and Becky Wells both of Effingham, IL; Sister: Laura Shivers, Red Lion, PA and 5 Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Parents & Wife.
