She was born, February 20, 1937, in Bow, KY, the daughter of Jesse & Eula (Nation) Vincent. Married Dewane Nordyke, May 25, 1979, he passed away in 1984. She was a Homemaker.

She is survived by: Son - John Briggs & Jenna, Taylorville, IL; Daughters - Shirley Brewster, Brownstown, IN and Billie Jo Lowe, Raymond, IL; Brother - Willie Vincent, Moweaqua, IL; Sisters - Eldean Thrasher, Moweaqua, IL and Regina Adams, Lacy, KY; Grandchildren - Matthew Briggs, Amanda Christian & David, Angela Findley & Jon, Trent Sutton & Valerie,Shelby Thacker & Blake Thacker; Great Grandchildren - Taylir, Chandler, Saige, Peyton, Reddek, Jordis Christian and Braelynn Sutton.
