Neva L. Hoffman, 95, of Vandalia, Illinois, formerly of Bingham, IL, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017, at Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 23, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Dr. Ben Foxworth, officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, June 23, 2017, at the funeral home. Memorials: Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL.
Born August 12, 1921, in Ramsey, IL, the daughter of Delbert & Ida Belle (Worker) Rhodes. Married Charles Leroy Hoffman on February 26, 1938, Shafter Twp., he passed away March 21, 2005. She was a Homemaker, Farm wife and loved cooking and doing crafts. Neva was famous for her Chicken & Noodles and commitment to family and her faith, considering Mt. Carmel Church as home. Long time member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Ramsey Baptist Church, Ramsey, IL and Bethel Baptist Church, Rural Vandalia, IL.
Survived by: Grandchildren - Keith Sanders & Dee, Vandalia, IL, Kent Sanders & Karen, Ramsey, IL and Kendra Craig & Andy, Vandalia, IL; Great Grandchildren - Christopher Sanders & Alyssa, Jessica Torbeck & Reid, Kelby Sanders, and Sarah & Gracie Craig; Great Great Grandchildren - Kaitlyn, Preston, Abigail & Isabela.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; Daughter - Shirley Sanders, March 15, 2015; Brothers - Clyde & Nova; and Sister - Elsie Kueper.
