Frank G. Moxey, 86, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018, at Fayette County Hospital, LTC, Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Bethel Baptist Church, Rural Vandalia, with Dr. Ben Foxworth and Rev. Joe Lawson, officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Cemetery, Rural Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 11, 2018, prior to the service at the church. Memorials: Bethel Baptist Church, Rural Vandalia, IL. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. He was born September 26, 1932, in Montgomery Co., IL, the son of Robert L. & Margaret (Ingham) Moxey. Married Joan Marie Hoffman May 15, 1955 in Bingham, IL. He was a Quality Engineer for the Boeing Co, St. Louis, MO and Member of Bethel Baptist Church, rural Vandalia, IL.
He is survived by: Wife - Joan Moxey, Vandalia, IL; Daughters - Karen Casbourne & John, Florissant, MO, Tamara Walker & Chris, Glen Carbon, IL, and Jean Swip & Tom, Columbia, IL; Sisters - Alice Moxey, Vandalia, IL, Elsie Darmiento, Port Orchard, WA, and Carrie Hill, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Jason, Lauren, Christina, Steve, Mike, Zoë & Maddi; and Great Grandchildren - Brock, Wyatt, Patricia and Torrie.
Preceded in death by: Parents; 2 Brothers - Robert & Eldon Moxey; and 1 Sister - Clara Bull.
