Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 17, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Ralph Dale Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery, Rural Fillmore, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 17, 2017 * before the service at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Bethel Baptist Church Vandalia, IL.
He was born June 10, 1942, in Vandalia, IL, the son of Ralph Owen & Rosa L. (Ricke) Stewart.. Married Karin M. Hennings, December 26, 1975, Hillsboro, IL. He was a Farmer and the Road and town Commissioner for Shafter Twp.
He is survived by: Wife - Karin M. Stewart, Vandalia, IL; Sons - Russell Stewart & Julie, Stacy Stewart & Traci and Travis Stewart & Fianee, Bobbi Campbell, all Vandalia, IL; 7 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; Brothers - Hugh Stewart & Lovetta J., Bartonville, IL; Ralph Dale Stewart & Donna, and Alen Stewart, both of Vandalia, IL; Arley Stewart & Mary, OH; Sister - Sue Anderson, Bartonville, IL.
Preceded in death by: His Parents.
