Beverly A. Blackerby, 79, of Herrick, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Springfield, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 3, 2017, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Rural Ramsey, with Pastor Gregg Shannon, officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Union Cemetery, Rural Herrick, IL. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL and 1 hour prior to the service at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on Monday, July 3, 2017. Memorials: Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Rural Ramsey, IL.
Born April 21, 1938, in Ramsey, IL, the daughter of Joseph Henry & Sarah Matilda "Tillie" (Craig) Fish. Married Earl Dean Blackerby November 24, 1963, he passed away July 1, 2004. She was a retired Postal Clerk working in Herrick and Effingham, IL; Homemaker; Member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Eastern Star, Ben Hur Literary Club and Home Extension.
Survived by: Brother - William "Bill" Otto Fish & Joyce, Bloomington, IL; and many Nephews & Nieces.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; 4 Brothers- Jerry, George, Joe Henry & Rex Eugene; 8 Sisters- Ruby, Margaret, Josephine, Vida Mae, Juanita Belle, Betty, Lydia & Infant Twin of Rex Eugene.
