Betty L. Adermann, 92, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016, in Vandalia, IL.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia, with Pastor Jerry Bagwell, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 21, 2016, prior to the service, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Vandalia, IL and/or Holy Cross Lutheran Radio Ministry, Vandalia, IL.

She was born September 28, 1924, in Ramsey, IL, the daughter of Carl Simpson & Nellie Mae (McKinney) Finley. Married Oscar R. Adermann on June 24, 1951, Vandalia, IL, he passed away August 5, 2007. She was a homemaker; former employee at Witte Hardware; was a member of the Vandalia Historical Society; American Legion Auxiliary and Holy Cross Lutheran Church, all of Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by: Son - Michael "Mike" Adermann, Bloomington, IL; Daughter - Patricia "Pat" Adermann, Vandalia, IL; 1 Granddaughter - Lauren Adermann-Lagerstrom & Brian, St. Louis, MO; Special Niece - Marsha McClaren & Jim, Carlyle, IL; and Sister-in-law - Carolyn Sasse, Vandalia, IL.

Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband - Oscar R. Adermann; 1 Brother; and 2 Sisters.
