Steven Eugene Fisher

Steven E. Fisher, 63, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019, in Vandalia, IL.

 

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Crown Point Church, Rural Vandalia, with  Pastor Pete LeDuc officiating.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 28, 2019, at the Church. He was born , February 22, 1956, in Decatur, IL, the son of Willis E. & Patricia A. (Lindsley) Fisher.  He married Rose M. Johnson, August 19, 1978, in Vandalia, IL. He was a retired laborer and had been employed with Norfolk & Western Railroad, Old Capitol Monument, Fork lift Operator for Poly Pak and a former Police Officer in Lovington, IL. Steven was a U.S. Marine Veteran. He loved  playing pool, fishing, and golfing with his family.

 

He is survived by: 

Wife - Rose M. Fisher, Vandalia, IL; Son - Steven E. Fisher, Vandalia, IL; Father - Willis E. Fisher, Decatur, IL;

Siblings - Michael E. Fisher, Peoria, IL; Cathy D. Ahlrich (Dale), Decatur, IL; Angela R. Keel-Welsh (Michael), Moline, IL; Kevin S. Fisher & (Fawn), Birmingham, AL;  Melinda M. Thorngren (Paul) Silvis, IL, and Katrina A. Riley (Erick) Pana, IL; and many nephews & nieces.
