Effie H. Cole, 90, of Springfield, Illinois, formerly of Ramsey and Fillmore, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Springfield Memorial Hospital, Springfield, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, with Pastor Clint Cook, officiating. Burial will follow at Ramsey Cemetery, Ramsey, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 26, 2019, before service at Miller Funeral Home, Ramsey, IL. Memorials: Donor's Choice.
Born, March 28, 1928, in Fillmore, IL, the daughter of Fred H. & Anna May (Richardson) Eaton. Married James Rex Cole on April 7, 1946 in Ramsey, IL. He passed away July 11, 1987. She was a retired Baker at St. John's Hospital; Member of Real Life Church, Springfield, IL; Past Member Fillmore Baptist Church; 55 Club and Forget Me Nots at Real Life Church, Springfield, IL. Effie loved sewing, playing cards, cooking & baking, and going out to eat with her friends and family.
Survived by: Son - James A. Cole & Brenda Kay, Claremore, OK; Daughters - Nancy A. Cole, Springfield, IL and Teresa Bisby and Ed, Monticello, IN; 8 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Husband; 2 Brothers- Otto & John; 4 Sisters- Thelma, Pearl, Mildred and Dorothy; Grandson - Todd A; Great Great Grandson - Brantley N.
