Betty Lou Flemming, 84, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at her home, Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Robert Weaver, officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, May 17, 2019, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: Hopewell Baptist Church, Pana, IL and/or Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL. She was born January 10, 1935, in Oconee, IL, the daughter of Harold M. & Margaret Elizabeth (Beverage) Batton. Married Kenneth Leroy Flemming on April 29, 1952, Hopewell Baptist Church, Pana, IL. She was a Homemaker; Member of Unity Baptist Church, Vandalia, IL and former member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Pana, IL.
She is survived by: Husband - Kenneth Flemming, Vandalia, IL; Sons - Michael Flemming, Springfield, IL and Kerry Flemming & Terri, Decatur, IL; Daughter - Tina Frailey & Doug, Vandalia, IL; 8 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; Brother - Dale Batton, Pana, IL; Sisters - Rita Denton, Pana, IL and Joyce McMann, Oconee, IL; and beloved dog Murphy and granddog Rebel.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Son - Reed Flemming; and Brother - Dean.
