Linda L. Merry, 74, of Vandalia, Illinois, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Vandalia, IL.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Terry Westerfield, officiating. Private Inurnment, will be in First United Methodist Church Columbarium, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL. Memorials: UMCOR Relief Team, First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL.
She was born July 3, 1943, in Alton, IL, the daughter of Roy Reynolds & Helen Imogene (Ingersoll) Sisk. Married Charles K. "Kent" Merry on September 1, 1962, Greenville, IL. She was a retired Legal Secretary and member of First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, IL.
She is survived by: Husband, Vandalia, IL; Son - Shawn Merry & Patricia, St. Charles, MO; Daughter - Shelly Huels, Carlyle, IL; Grandchildren - Mia, Alicia, Jenna, Hazel & Hayden; and many Nephews and Nieces.
Preceded in death by: Parents; Infant Son; 2 Daughters; and 2 Brothers.
