Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia, IL with Pastor Robert Fransico officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL (1 hr before the service). Memorials: Bryan Manor, Centralia, IL and/or First Christian Church, Vandalia, IL.

Sheryl was born on April 3, 1951, in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of James Willard and Betty Irene (Edwards) McDowell. She was affiliated with the First Christian Church, Vandalia, IL.

She is survived by her Mother: Betty McDowell, Vandalia, IL; Brothers: Jerry McDowell & Connie, Vandalia, IL; Mike McDowell & Ellen, Louisville, GA; Lynn McDowell & Shelly, Vandalia, IL; Sisters: Carolyn Powell & Nelson, Brownstown, IL and Connie Chapman & David, Vandalia, IL; Several Nephews and Nieces.

She was preceded in death by her Father.
