Virginia Lee Elam, 67, of Vandalia, IL, died on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in her home.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Vandalia, IL with Rev. Joe Lawson Officiating. Private burial will be at a later date. Memorials are to the Family.

Virginia was born on September 21, 1944, in Missouri, the daughter of John Labon and Virginia Alice (Pitchett) Bolyard. She married Harold Rhoades, later married Cecil Warren, and Lowell Dean Elam on November 13, 1988. Virginia was a retired employee for Almar Pencil Factory, Vandalia, IL and a Tupperware Manager for 18 years. She was affiliated with the Christian Church.

She is survived by Husband: Dean Elam, Vandalia, IL; Son: John Warren, Vera, IL; Daughters: Judy Woodard, Kentucky, Beth Mills, Dollville, IL, Annette Cole, Vera, IL Johanna Davis, Vandalia, IL, Sarah Warren, Shobonier, IL and Eva Warren, Beloit, WI; Mother: Virginia Bolyard, Vandalia, IL; Brothers: John Bolyard, Ramsey, IL, Jim Bolyard, Kansas City, KS, B.J. Boylard, Decatur, IL, Carl Bolyard, Ramsey, IL and Steven Bolyard, Ramsey, IL; Sisters: Ann Haston, New Athens, IL, Diana Wollin, St. Peter, IL, Karen Rhoades, Herrick, IL, Patty Cunningham, Beecher City, IL, Mary Otto, Vandalia, IL and Margaret Hedgepath, Vandalia, IL; 29 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Father, 1st Husband & Daughter=Chris Briggs.
